Student opportunities and activities
At Sofala Public School, we offer a variety of programs and across the school and with other schools to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Sporting
Students particapte in individual and team sports alongside other students in our Bathurst Small School Network. Our school participates in the Sporting Shools Program to experience a range of new sports and develop new skills.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities. Students participate in the bi-annual Bathurst Small Schools Creative and Practical Atrs Festival.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
